Speaking at the university’s 13th convocation ceremony in Ondo Town, Ondo State, Adeyemi, who earned a degree in Microbiology with an impressive 4.97 CGPA, revealed that she avoided having a boyfriend during her four-year course to stay focused and minimise distractions.
According to her, she said: “Well, I had actually discussed this matter with several other people, and they told me that it depends on your own perspective. But for me, I see it as a distraction because I cannot divide my mind. A boyfriend might be demanding my attention, which would prevent me from putting my total effort into my books.”
Reaction
I quite agree with Miss. Ifeoluwa Mercy Adeyemi. It takes a great deal of discipline mixed with dint of hard work to graduate with a super impressive Cumulative Grade Point Average of 4.97 in Microbiology.
