Abia State Government has announced the release of the year 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

EDC stated that a total number of 36,606 candidates registered for the exam, and 34,422 candidates sat for the examination while 962 candidates were absent.
According to the release, 27,404 candidates, representing 79.61 percent, passed the exam, while 99 candidates, representing 0.29 percent, failed, while 5,957 is pending .
The release further enjoined Principals, Proprietors of schools and the general public to access the results online and direct any inquiries and complaints to the office of the Director-in-Charge, Examination Development Center (EDC).
