In a significant move towards resolving ongoing tensions, the Special Adviser on Environment, Hon. Adeyemi Olayemi, convened a critical meeting between the Onidere of Idere Community and representatives from the Ondo Linyi Industrial Hub in Ore. The meeting, held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, aimed to address and find solutions to the pressing issues causing friction between the community and the industrial company.
Hon. Adeyemi Olayemi, demonstrating his commitment to environmental and community welfare, opened the session by acknowledging the concerns of the Idere community. He assured them that their grievances would be thoroughly examined and addressed. “We are here to ensure that all parties are heard and that the right measures are put in place to correct any issues,” he stated emphatically.
