The teams embarked on a four-mile boat journey, passing iconic structures along the river. The excitement peaked during the nations’ parade when Team Nigeria entered the arena in traditional attire, highlighting the country’s rich cultural diversity.
A viral video on social media captures Amusan leading the team on their boat cruise, with Anuoluwapo Opeyori named as the general captain. The 2024 Olympic Games, featuring 10,714 athletes from 206 countries, will take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
