The Osun State government under the leadership of Gov Ademola Adeleke will continue to create an enabling environment for whoever is with the intent to promote economic activities in the State.
This was one of the assertions made by the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo while speaking to the leadership of Southwest Commodities Farmers, Osun State chapter in his office.
The Commissioner has subsequently approved a portion of space at Ayegbaju International Market, for the display of agricultural commodities of the organization, for the consumption of Osun people, at affordable prices.
The organization has requested the state government to provide a large expanse of land for them, to display their goods and sell to Osun people at a cheaper price.
Meanwhile, the approved space at Ayegbaju International Market will serve the organization, pending the eventual Governor’s approval for a large expanse of land for products exhibition.
According to the Commissioner, “the government of Sen. (Dr.) Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke is resolved to promote economic and industrial growth of the state and will not take any chance in creating a conducive environment for businesses to thrive”.
Speaking to the agricultural commodities organization, the Commissioner said “you are to make use of the approved space at Ayegbaju International Market pending when the government will release a large portion of land for you, for the display of your commodities”.
He urged the organization to remain focused, steadfast and courageous to reduce the stress, usually encountered in the exchange of farmer’s commodity with members of the public.
