The Russian presidential envoy for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, met on Tuesday with the commander of the Ugandan People’s Defense Forces, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, during his working visit to Moscow, Sputnik news agency reported.
During their exchange of views on international and regional issues, special attention was given to “conflicts in Africa’s hot spots,” the Russian Foreign Ministry stated.
They also discussed the further development of Russian-Ugandan relations, including expanding trade and economic partnership as well as countering international terrorism.
