The People’s democratic party ward 14, Uegwere Boue, Khana LGA emptied APC and SDP on Saturday, 21 October 2023.
It was a remarkable day in the political history of ward 14, as the remaining members of APC and SDP officially joined the PDP; notable among them were:
Mrs Patience Sagha, the wife of a 2nd republic Chief Whip of House of Representatives.
Miss Barisi Tornwini, former APC women leader.
Hon. Neeka Kparikpa, former councillor.
Mr Baribia Bari, SMA coordinator ward 14.
Chief Monday Pyazuru kpekon, former APC ward chairman.
Mr Dandison Kagbara, former SDP ward chairman who doubles as chairman forum of SDP ward chairmen in Khana and host of others.
They said; after accessing the works of Sir Siminalayi Fubara in Rivers State, including the Bori internal roads, they decided to pledge their loyalty to the political leader of the ward, Hon. Anea-bari Donald Burabe, the immediate-past commissioner for Housing in Rivers State.
ln his response, the party leader formally welcome them to the party and promised equal opportunity.
