The Rivers State Police Command has arrested four officers who were caught in a viral video assaulting a woman in Port Harcourt.
In the viral video, a woman was seen bleeding from her lips after she was allegedly assaulted by four policemen in Port Harcourt recently.
In the video, the victim’s sister who shot it, was heard shouting that she hates Nigerian police after what they did to her sister.
The command, in a post on its X page on Monday confirmed that the police officers had been arrested.
The post said the command is pleading with the lady to contact a certain number to share her side of the story as a case of assault.
The command wrote: “The Police Officers on a video trending on social media have been arrested. The Command is pleading to the lady on the video to contact 08036219523 to share her side of the story as case of assault on members of the Public by Police Officer sacrosanct.”
