This is a map of Nigeria’s Trans-Saharan Gas Pipeline, which will have a total length of about 4,128 kilometers (2,565 miles), of which 1,037 kilometers will pass through Nigeria, 841 kilometers through Niger, and roughly 2,310 kilometers through Algeria.
According to plans, the pipeline will also serve regional and local energy markets along the route.
A mere glance at this map will summarize the importance of a stable Niger to our economy development.
According to verify script, the Trans-Sahara Gas Pipelines project is to cost $13 billion
NNPCL is also making progress on the planned Nigeria-Morocco and the Trans-Sahara Gas Pipelines that will connect West African countries to deliver natural gas to the international markets.
With gas reserves of 209.5 billion standard cubic feet, Nigeria is looking to harness gas as transition fuel amid global push from fossil fuels, but the infrastructure to achieve the goal remained a challenge even as the country depends on export market for local utilisation.”
