The Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, on Friday, joined other chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State for the wedding ceremony of the son of the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin.
Jibrin’s son, Abdullahi got married to Bilkisu Aliyu Sani Madaki, daughter of the Deputy Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Aliyu Sani Madaki.
The list of dignitaries at the ceremony held at Isyaka Rabiu Juma’at Mosque, Goron Dutse, Kano, after juma’at prayers, includes Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, House of Reps Speaker, Tajudeen Abbas, Senator Ali Ndume, and Kawu Sumaila.
Others in attendance were elder statesman Aminu Dantata, former Senate President Ahmad Lawan, and members of the Kano State Executive Council, among others.
However, some pictures which also surfaced online captured Peter Obi alongside, Akpabio and other APC chieftains at the event.
APC chieftain, Bayo Onanuga, took to his Twitter page to share photos of the former Governor of Anambra State.
He called the attention of LP supporters, saying that Peter Obi is currently playing politics of no bitterness.
He wrote: “The Obidients should note: Peter Obi is now playing politics of no bitterness in hobnobbing with APC leaders.”
