India is now on the moon. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) successfully launched its Chandrayaan-3 Vikram lander on the moon’s South Pole earlier today.
This makes India the first nation in the world to land a spacecraft on the moon’s South Pole and the fourth nation to land on the moon after the United States, China and Russia.
Following the successful landing on the moon, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India’s successful moon mission is not India’s alone adding that the success belongs to all of humanity and will help other countries’ moon missions too.
Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering also congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India on the successful landing of the Chandrayaan-3.
