Rev Bunmi Jenyo expressed dissatisfaction at the refusal of traders who rented shops at the Ayegbaju market, to start trading in the market.
He added that, the market has an international standard with the structure put in place which include: lock-up shops, exclusive shops, administrative and maintenance offices, public toilets, health centre, cafeteria, police post among others.
The Commissioner also lauded the idea of the ongoing construction of a massive Shopping Mall and Hotel Venture in the market, saying it will boost the economic value and customers patronage in the market.
Rev Jenyo stated that, Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration will not go back on his development agenda to transform commercial activities of the State.
The Commissioner who enjoined the traders to wake up to their responsibilities, so that the purpose for the establishment of the market will not be jeopardized, also reassured them of government’s support at all times, to put a smile on their faces.
