GuinnessWorldRecords has revealed that they have received approximately one thousand five hundred (1,500) applications from Nigerians.

After ChefHildaBaci set a new record for the longest individual cooking marathon a few months ago, many Nigerians have followed suit.
There have been numerous marathons to break various records. The longest marathons for reading, kissing, sex, cooking, massaging, and many other activities have all taken place.
According to reports, Guinness World Records has revealed that following the record of Hilda Baci, there has been an increase in the number of would-be record breakers from Nigeria after receiving 1500 applications.
GWR said, “The attention and excitement that Hilda Baci’s cooking marathon gained was certainly an incentive for many Nigerians to consider attempting a Guinness World Records title. Since her record attempt, there has been a spike in applications from Nigeria, particularly for marathon records.”
