Ataoja of Osogbo Appreciates Gov Adeleke for Fulfilling His Promise to Osogboland, Thanks Osun First Lady for the Courtesy Visit.
His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji, the Ataoja of Osogbo, has extended his heartfelt appreciation to the executive governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, for fulfilling his promise to the people of Osogboland by appointing sons and daughters of Osogbo to key positions.
This significant development was acknowledged during a courtesy visit by the First Lady of Osun State, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke who was accompanied by the Osun State PDP Woman-leader, Hon. (Mrs) Alice Omowumi Otunla, to the royal palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo today Friday 21st July, 2023.
During the visit, the First Lady of Osun State, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke, conveyed her gratitude to Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji and the palace Chiefs for their support towards her husband, Governor Adeleke, before, during and after the July 16, 2022 gubernatorial election. She assured the people of Osogbo that the appointment of Osogbo indigenes to vital positions in the administration of Senator Adeleke was only the beginning with more remarkable benefits in store for the good people of Osogbo.
The Osun First Lady, Erelu Adeleke, also expressed her appreciation to the monarch for warmly hosting her and her entourage. She took a moment to commend the beautiful queens of the Ataoja of Osogbo for their exceptional care of Kabiesi, noting how their love and attention have contributed to his youthful and vibrant demeanor.
Erelu Ngozi Adeleke extended her thanks to the wives of the Ataoja, Olori Jelilat Abidemi Oyetunji, Olori Balikis Adeola Oyetunji, Olori Kafayat Adeola Oyetunji, Olori Kafayat Adedoyin Oyetunji, Olori Mariam Oyetunji Olanipekun and Olori Taibat Oyetunji Olanipekun, for the honour of receiving her and her guests.
Furthermore, special appreciation was given to the Alie of Ilie, Oba Kareem Olagunoye, the Ajagunna of Osogboland and Head of King Makers, High Chief G.O Oparanti, Chief Hammed Olawale, who leads Agba Oroki, Alhaji Muniru Adebayo Raji, the Iyaloja of Osogbo and Olorunda local governments, Ataoja Palace ICT officer, Mr. Bello Abduljeleel and other prominent traditional rulers and Chiefs who graced the occasion.
Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji, on behalf of the entire Osogboland, expressed profound gratitude to Governor Ademola Adeleke for his commitment to the progress and development of Osogboland. He assured the governor of the unyielding support and loyalty of the people as they work together to achieve greater heights and prosperity for the city of Osogbo.
The visit by the First Lady, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke, to the Ataoja’s palace marks a significant step in strengthening the bond between the government and the people, fostering unity and ensuring a brighter future for Osogboland.
