Akeredolu Babajide, the son of Ondo State governor, Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, has been linked with the purchase of a property in Oba Ile, Ondo State capital, for about N4.2 billion.

Babajide, is the special adviser and Director-General of the Performance and Project Implementation Monitoring Unit of the state.
Babajide Akeredolu became known in Ondo state when the state’s funds were used to procure a marriage for him in Colorado, USA.
Document revealed that Babajide bought the popular Joejein hotel to outsmart the Ooni Of Ife, Oba Enitan Adewusi Adeyeye, who was pricing the said hotel for 3.6 billion.
Savannah News gathered that demolition is currently going on in the hotel along Airport road under the supervision of his inlaw Mr Reunsewe who is from Ogun state.
As of the time of filling this report, Babajide cronies who are working for him in his Lagos Hotel property are currently in the said hotel monitoring the ongoing demolition.
