The Leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Southwest Zone D Led by the Coordinator Comrade Alao John , extends its deepest appreciation to Dr. Kayode Balogun, the esteemed Rector of the Federal School of Statistics Ibadan, for his swift and magnanimous act in reinstating two suspended students of the institution.

Ajibade Qudus Olanrewaju (Matriculation Number: 2123) and Paul Onome Omuru (Matriculation Number: 1663), both students of the Federal School of Statistics Ibadan, were facing suspension, causing concern among the student community.
However, to our immense satisfaction,the Rector, Dr. Kayode Balogun, took prompt action to reconsider their cases because of our visitation and intervention.
We are happy to inform the general public that the two students suspension has been relaxed by the rector.
NANS Southwest Zone D commends Dr. Kayode Balogun for his commitment to justice, fairness, and the well-being of the students. His decision to review and reverse the suspensions reflects his dedication to providing a conducive learning environment that nurtures personal growth and academic excellence.
We recognize and appreciate the Rector’s impartiality and his belief in the importance of second chances. By reinstating Ajibade Qudus Olanrewaju and Paul Onome Omuru, Dr. Kayode Balogun has demonstrated his commitment to giving students an opportunity to learn from their mistakes and continue their educational journey.
