Vice President Yemi Osinbajo took Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima on a tour of the Vice Presidential Wing at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Osinbajo shared pictures from the tour on his Twitter handle on Thursday.
He wrote, “It was my pleasure to receive VP-Elect Sen. Kashim Shettima and take him on a tour of the Vice Presidential Wing of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa.”
The moment outgoing Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari award the title of the Grand Commander of the Federal Republic (GCFR) and the Grand Commander of the Order of Niger (GCON), to the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Vice President-elect, Kassim Shettima.
The titles are of the highest honor in the country, Nigeria.
The conferment of National Honours is part of the event lined up ahead of the May 29 inauguration ceremony.
Buhari also present transition documents to the President-elect for the State House, Abuja on Thursday.
