Days as the National Association Of Nigerian Students, Southwest Zone D, convention gets close, qualify and interested students has shown their interest by making individual declaration.
In the earlier hour of today, Comr. Ajegbomogun Isreal has make his intention known as he make declaration to contest for the post of the Deputy6 coordinator of the the zone.
It is believe that Ajegbomogun Isreal is to clich the Ondo unity ticket.Â
In a stakeholders meeting which lasted for several hours where prominent stakeholders, cadres, Senators, Comrades and concern leaders of the Union was adress by Comr. Ajegbomogun Israel.
In a statement released to Peoplesmind, his declaration message reads;
Declaration of Of Interest To Contest
My fellow Comrades,
I am Comrade Israel Oludare Ajegbomogun, popularly known as (IZZY).
I am today, with utmost humility, formally declaring my intention to run for the office of the Deputy Coordinator, National Association of Nigerian Students, Southwest Zone D, on the basis of fairness, commitment and transparency.
If by the grace of God and the will of the Stakeholders; Comrades, Senators and Students of the State and leadership of the Southwest, I am given the opportunity, then I believe that first, A better NANS is achievable as I’ll give my possible best to the dear organization.
In the past, I was opportuned to serve as the Student’s Union Government (SUG) President at The Federal College of Agriculture, Akure, Ondo State. Inspite of that, I was able to facilitate some numerous projects to the Citadel of Learning and worked with students of the institution at large also as the Chief of staff to the former Jcc Chairman Ondo . I have learnt some leadership skills and engagements during my reign as the union leader.
I consider myself fit to occupy the aforementioned position because of my believe in a capacity building, enthusiasm, readiness to serve my fellow students, students activism among others. If by chance I am elected, I’ll be looking forward to be active in the following capacities;
✓ Working day-to-day with the Cordinator in Students’ movements
✓ Conflicts resolution between the Students and Institutional or Academy staffs
✓ Working with the cordinator to promote unity among students
✓ Ensuring that unity and major issues being faced by the Nigeria student from the zone are been addressed by working in hands with the coordinator
Furthermore, your cooperation, total support and oneness are needed to be able to achieve these fundamental rights of the students in our articulate Association.
The road ahead will be long but we go forward with faith and courage.
