PDP chieftain in Osun, Hon. Tunde Adeniyi Balogun has urged the Muslims in Osun to use the remaining period of this Ramadan to pray for peace, love and security for Osun State with the renewed cases of kidnapping, killing and destruction of property happening across the country.
In a statement signed by Ogunola Wasiu to mark the Ramadan fast, āI felicitate all Osun born and Nigerians, particularly the Muslim Ummah, in this Holy Month of Ramadan.
It is a period of spiritual reflection, abstinence, sacrifice and supplications to the Almighty Allah.
The holy month of Ramadan thus provides the faithful the opportunity to commune with Allah, and live as His Prophets enjoin us to do as we seek His blessings and mercies.
We believe that with the few days to go, we have to pray more for our political leaders and Osun that almighty Allah guide them rightly and help them to do the People willing according to God plans
āThe essence of the period is even more significant for us as we seek solutions and divine guidance out of the challenges that we currently face in our dear nation.
