Ijaw nation is justified to vote against PDP if Delta north can vote against Okowa

I have taking my time to talk to Ijaw nation many reasons PDP shouldn’t be an option but some persons are still hesitating. There is no singular reason for Ijaw nation to vote PDP again.

Okowa is from Ika North-East of Delta North Senatorial district. But the people came out to express their anger by voting out PDP/Okowa in the just concluded presidential election. He struggled to win only his LGA and fail the other local government areas to labour party.

PRESIDENTIAL candidate of Labour Party, LP, Mr Peter Obi won 18 out of the 25 local government areas of the State, leaving seven Local Government Areas for his closest rival and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Mr Peter Obi took Ika South, Aniocha North, Ethiope West, Oshimili North, Ndokwa West, Ukwuani, Aniocha South, Ethiope East, Sapele, Ndokwa East, Oshimili South, Isoko South, Isoko North, Warri South, Okpe, Udu, Aniocha North, Uvwie and Ughelli North, Local Government Areas with 341,866 votes while Atiku/Okowa won in Ika North-East, Bomadi, Patani, Warri North, Burutu. Ughelli South and Warri South-West Local Government Area of the State with 161,600 votes.

If Delta North that is perceived to be major beneficiary of Okowa led administration can vent their anger with their votes, Ijaw nation is expected to give PDP zero vote come 18th, 2023. 

Let’s remind ourselves predominant maltreatment Ijaw nation suffered from Okowa/PDP administration

What happened to Ayakoromo bridge, what happened to Bomadi polytechnic, what happened to the technical colleges promised to Ijaws, Turo Angiama road in patani etc? 

What offence did Ijaws commit against Okowa and Sherrif? 

Ijaw votes made governor Okowa, Ijaw oil money is what Okowa used to transformed Owa Alero from forest to modern city. 

After using and dumping Ijaws for 8yrs, Okowa and Sheriff are going round Ijaw communities they deliberately ignored to beg them to vote for another anti Ijaw candidate called Sheriff..

Okowa promised Ijaw nation governor after his tenure, which made James Manager not to contest for Senate, but Okowa openly worked against Ijaws, supported Sheriff without having rethink how Ijaws used their money and votes to made him governor..

If Sherrif win, Ijaws will lose out completely, because there will be no senator, no deputy governor, and the speakership position will go to Okowa’s daughter who is contesting for house of assembly seat.. 

Wike gave Ijaws PDP ticket after using them to become governor twice.. that is how you reward loyalty. You don’t used people, and dumped them after becoming governor.

James Manager should stop delivering to PDP, he should work with Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, and negotiate a better political future for the Ijaw nation. 

As I speak to us now, Okowa/Sheriff have promised the governorship ticket to Ijaws and Isoko nation at same time. Okowa has promised Gbaramatu kingdom, same ticket he is now promising James manager. 

A man who can’t keep political promises can’t be trust forthwith. Same way he deceived ijaw nation in 2022 Governorship primaries 

A vote for PDP is a continuation of Ijaw political and economic slavery in Delta State..

Ijaws should stop supporting PDP blindly in Delta State..

Politics is all about economic and political interests. Ijaws should ask themselves where their political and economic interests lies in Okowa third term project in Sheriff. 

Read, digest, think, ponder the facts here, and prioritize Ijaw impoverished communities, take development over selfish, greedy stomach interest.

Prioritize the greater Ijaw prosperity over the crumbs you are getting from Okowa and Sherrif..

Ijaw development and prosperity over politics of selfish interests is most paramount now.
