The Representative of Ile-oluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin, has in the spirit of yuletide distributed some welfare packages and empowerment incentives to no fewer than 150 Constituents in Odigbo Local Government.
The welfare packages which include cloth materials, and other incentives were extended to widows, elderly people and vulnerable individuals in the constituency in a bid to cushion the effects of financial
constraints among people in the constituency. Some teeming youths in the Constituency were also impacted with empowerment initiative courtesy of Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin.
Reacting to the development, some of the beneficiaries who spoke after the distribution appreciated Hon. Akinfolarin for returning back to the constituency at all times to better the lot of the people and improve their welfare conditions.
Hon. Akinfolarin used the opportunity to appreciate the people for their solid support during the course of the year (2022). He said his numerous
achievements become possible in respect of the unity, cooperation and understanding mustered by the people of the Constituency.
He further implored them to continue to seek the progress of the Constituency in 2023 as the role of the people is indispensable to sustainable growth and development.
